Polyethylene fittings
The polyethylene fittings of the EUROSTANDARD range are injection molded with PE 100 and PE 100-RC type resins suitable for use for pipe fittings in fuel gas, water and pressurized fluid transport networks. The characteristics comply with the UNI EN 1555 , UNI EN 12201 and UNI EN ISO 15494 standards . The resins used, originally added with carbon black to give stabilization to UV rays, are suitable for contact with drinking water and foodstuffs pursuant to the Ministerial Decree of 21 March 1973 and Ministerial Decree n. 174 dated 6 April 2004. EUROSTANDARD fittings can be welded with PE100 and PE80 pipes and fittings having a fluidity index of 0.2 – 1.4 g/10 min (ISO 1133-1 5 kg / 190 °C).
